Golf Stance tips

More then any other shot it's important that you take the correct stance when you address your tee shots. This stand whether you're hitting an iron or 1 wood off the tee. A lower golf score is achieved by perfecting the little things not by driving the ball 300 yards. If you imagine a line drawn between your two feet and continuing right down the fairway this is your line of aim. You can further look at this by placing a club at the front of both of your feet and then stepping away from your ball. Look at where the club is aimed, is it where you want it to go? For many amateur golfers this can be a struggle. A great driver golf swing tip for your stance is instead of attempting to line yourself up with the pin or a spot on the fairway hundreds of yards away pick a spot 1-3' in front of you and align yourself to this spot. It will be in your vision as you begin your swing and is much easier to square up to then a spot way down the fairway. This is the first step to hitting straighter, and more accurate tee shots.

Getting more power out of your drives

Close behind the golf slice the new biggest complaint about the driver is golf swing distance. People just aren't getting the distance out of their drives they'd like to see. Of course this can be a symptom of many things, but there are a couple of things you can try next time you're at the range. First is to do with a golf swing wrist, when you're coming through your swing you want to turn over your wrists as you follow through, this helps ensure that you're getting the club face back square to the ball prior to impact. Secondly, and this is likely a bigger issue, as you come through your swing turn into it by turning your hips forward. You don't want to do this before impact as it will likely cause a slice or hook. How ever this is where the real power behind your drive golf swing is created. After your swing is complete your belt buckle should be pointing in the same direction your were aiming. If your belt buckle is still aimed down at the ground or not all the way around then start turning through you're swing to recognize more power.
