Books have been a tool for those trying to learn a new skill or research a topic for as long as they've existed. When it comes to the game of golf it's much the same, golf instruction books cater to those of us striving to improve our game, lower our score, and become more consistent. How ever it can become a challenge to sift through the mass amount of content available to find the best golf instruction book.
The most prestigious part of the game of golf, using the driver. Even though it can only make up a maximum of 18 shots per round we spend more time focusing on our consistency and mastery of this club then any other in our bag. There have been a couple of approaches taken to writing golf instruction books about hitting consistent drives. There are those that combat the dreaded golf slice, and those that offer an over view of the complete swing. Both have their place, but it's my own personal experience that learning the correct technique for the full swing is more valuable then just learning how to not slice the ball.
The best golf instruction book I've found available online for teaching the full golf swing sequence is 'The Golf Swing Guru'. It offers a unique angle teaching a ¾ swing to weekend golfers that suits our skill sets. The philosophy is that we aren't golf pros so why should we try to play like them. To learn more check out 'The Simple Golf swing'.
If you're looking for detailed information on how to correct a golf slice, then we recommend you check out Dave Moores book 'Instant Golf Slice Cure'.
Now this part of the game makes more sense to concentrate on. For many of us we rarely two putt, let alone one putt. You can make up some serious strokes on your score if you could two putt ever single green consistently. There's one of the golf training books we've come across that is directly related to putting.
Scott Myers book 'Putting Secrets Revealed' teaches a putting method that he guarantees will stop 3 and 4 putts forever. Now in my opinion that's quite a guarantee. This method could cut 10-15 strokes off your next round. If you struggle with your putting then check it out. CLICK HERE for Putting Secrets Revealed
There are parts of this game that we can work on that do not involve holding and/or swinging a golf club. Golf instruction books that focus more on the actual training for the game have become very popular over the last couple of years. You can find titles about everything from exercising and strength training for golf, to yoga for golf. One that we have found to be quite useful is written by a golf fitness training expert Mike Pedersen. Mike's book the 'Ultimate Golf Fitness Guide' is a well written resource for those of us that are taking are game more seriously, and want to reach our peak physical fitness to help lower our scores and handicaps.
